History

A life long resident of Steelton, I was born on June 13th, 1980 to Anthony and Sherry Segina.

My father, born in 1952 is also a life long Steelton resident. My mother was born and raised in Port Royal, PA. My grandfather Anthony Sr was born in 1918 and was a lifelong resident of Steelton until his retirement in 1980 when he built a new home in Old Reliance Middletown. He was a proud member of the US Armed Forces during WWII and worked at Bethlehem Steel after the war to his retirement in 1980. His father (my great grandfather) came to Steelton from Slovenia in the early 1900’s for work and one of the original builders of St. Peter’s Church in Steelton. After several years of saving money he sent for his family to join him and purchased a residence at 306 Main Street on the West Side.

Education & Employment

I started my education in K-4 at Steelton Elementary. The following year I was enrolled in kindergarten at Seven Sorrows BVM School until the end of 3^rd grade. From 4^th to 7^th grade I attended St. John Neumann School (now Prince of Peace). From 8^th thru 12th I attended Steelton-Highspire High School and graduated in the Class of 1998.

After graduation I attended HACC for 3 semesters where I decided to pursue a more technical training path and obtained my MCSE from Microsoft in 2001.

I have worked in the computer field since 1998 and currently work for Clark Resources Inc in Harrisburg as the Senior Manager of Information Technology I have been with this company since 2016.

Personal & Social

• On October 4th, 2014, after a 3 year relationship, I married my childhood friend Jennifer Benko.
• In May of 2008 I decided to purchased my own home at 2117 S 2^nd Street and have lived there since.
• I had been an active officer at the Saint Aloysius Society in Steelton since 2001-2015 and have held the following positions:
  • Society Auditor
  • Club Manager
  • Club Treasurer
  • Club President
  • Society Financial Secretary
• Bowler in the Harrisburg Builders Exchange league at Red Crown Bowling Center,  2001-2016
• Member of the Player Pool League since 1999 and Team Captain.
• Appointed to the Steelton Water Authority on May 18th, 2015-2019
• Appointed to the Steelton Planning Commission on May 18th, 2015, Appointed Chair in 2019.
• Appointed to the Steelton Stormwater Authority in 2022, Appointed Treasurer.
