The Dauphin County Board of Commissioners opened the Dauphin County Recycling Center (DCRC) in April 2009. The DCRC was established to offer a convenient drop off location for residents, out-of-county residents, businesses, institutions, and local governments to recycle their unwanted or obsolete electronics or appliances, and old thermostats containing mercury.
They will take most household electronics including TV’s & computers from any Steelton residents for FREE, all you have to do is take it there with an ID that shows that you areĀ a Steelton resident.
Lets all work at keeping Steelton beautiful by keeping these item off our streets!
